Root your joy in the person of Jesus rather than in temporary circumstances. Serve others and pursue a mission-oriented life - joy often increases when we pour out our lives for others. When you're suffering, remember God either frees you or uses that season for his purposes; rehearse what you did receive this year. If you haven't trusted Christ, the sermon invited immediate response to receive salvation and sustaining joy.
